The 2020 GLC 350e will receive upgrades to its overall design details and will receive better standard and optional features. Part of the redesign for 2020, the GLC 350e has an elegant, off-road look from its contoured radiator grill and chrome trim that runs the length of the SUV. Combined with redesigned High Performance headlights and taillights that now come standard, the GLC 350e is a striking vehicle that retains the Mercedes-Benz signature style but is also unique.

Inside, the latest MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system with Voice Control is housed in a new 10.25-inch central touchscreen. A customizable 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster is available, too. Owners can choose from three natural-grain woods on the interior trim. Each color pairs perfectly with the genuine aluminum accents and the hand-fitted upholstery. Also available with the new upgrades to the GLC 350e is an improved suite of state-of-the-art driver assistance systems.

On top of the design and feature updates, the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC 350e received upgrades to its battery and powertrain. The new GLC 350e will boast a larger, 13.5-kWh battery, giving an increase in range and overall power from its predecessor. In addition, a new 7.4-kW onboard charger notably increases the vehicle’s charging capacity and reduces the charging time. The new GLC 350e can be fully charged with a standard charger in 8 hours, and can charge up to 80% in just 2 hours on a quick charger.

Plug-in hybrids give customers the best of both worlds: power and efficiency. The new battery is still paired with a turbo-charged 4-cylinder engine, but the GLC 350e will receive a new 9-speed transmission to help with fuel economy. These efficiency upgrades come without sacrifice to the overall power of the GLC 350e. The larger battery gives an additional 121 horsepower, giving the GLC 350e a total combined 315 hp. The GLC 350e can still get you from 0-60 mph in 5.6 seconds while earning 56 MPGe.

Owners can utilize the 28-30 miles full electric range of the GLC 350e while running errands in town, then utilize the combined engine and combined range for longer trips. If your GLC 350e is equipped with the available Multimedia Package, you can utilize the intelligent, route-based operating strategy. This system operates the fully electric driving mode where it is most appropriate taking into account navigation date, topography, speed limits and traffic for your planned route. This allows you to maximize efficiency and conserve electric power when you can.
