The release of the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB 250 brought a lot of excitement with it. Now, there’s even more reasons to get excited about the GLB. Let us introduce you to the 2021 Mercedes-Benz AMG® GLB 35! The AMG® GLB 35 was debuted in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show and is set to be release in the US in late 2020. We may have to wait until the end of the year to get our hands on an AMG® GLB 35 here at Mercedes-Benz of Caldwell, but all of the details have already been released. Here is a sneak peek of what you can look forward to when the 2021 Mercedes AMG® GLB 35 is released!

The AMG® GLB 35 is a quintessential AMG® model coming with more performance, new designs, and more standard features than the GLB 250. Beneath the hood, Mercedes-Benz has amped up the GLB 35’s 2.0L, four-cylinder, turbocharged engine to produce 302 horsepower, up quite a bit from 221 in the GLB 250. The AMG® GLB 35 responds to you with fast yet smooth gearshifts and a sporty driving style, with its dual-clutch 8-speed transmission. The AMG® GLB 35 comes with four driving modes like the GLB 250, but they are AMG® specific. The five AMG® DYNAMIC SELECT drive modes include Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and Individual, with an added Race Start function. The new Race Start function comes standard and adjusts the powertrain to give you optimal acceleration and traction taking you from 0 to 60 in just 5.1 seconds.

Drive through every curve with precision and stability with the AMG® GLB 35’s redesigned suspension system. You can also go off-road with the 4MATIC® all-wheel drive system designed to factor traction, torque, and speed into optimal efficiency. No matter where you go, maintain full control with speed-sensitive power steering, adjusting to your selected drive mode for heightened performance. The AMG® GLB 35 is a high performance machine with unmatched versatility. It will be an absolute adrenaline rush.

The Mercedes-Benz AMG® GLB 35 is even more distinguishable on the outside, from the 19 inch, 5-spoke light alloy wheels to the roof spoiler, you’ll catch every glance when you arrive to your destination. The prominent Mercedes-Benz star proudly adorns the AMG®-specific front grille, just above the newly remodeled front splitter. A broad, rear apron and two round tailpipes maintain the AMG®’s sporty appeal.

Inside the cabin, appreciate all the finer comforts with state-of-the-art Mercedes-Benz technology and AMG® specific styling. The MBUX Infotainment System comes with AMG® specific screens and is controlled on an innovative digital display with a seamless pair of 10.25-inch screens. You can utilize touchscreen, voice command, or steering wheel mounted controls to control the MBUX system. The GLB 35 has optional seating for 7 passengers just like the GLB 250, but the AMG® GLB 35 comes with MB-Tex / DINAMICA microfiber seats adorned with red stitching and red seatbelts. There are also two optional leather seating packages. The AMG® GLB 35 interior is unique, perfectly curated, and features state-of-the-art technology for you to enjoy.
