Mercedes-Benz pulled out all the stops upgrading the all-new E-Class. The engine received an upgrade to a new turbocharged, 2.0-liter engine makes 255 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. Making this E-Class the most powerful yet with an extra 14 hp over the previous model year. This power upgrade came with no sacrifice to fuel economy, as the EPA estimates for the E 350 are around 21 mpg city and 30 mpg highway, fairly close to the previous model year E 300 model.

The new engine is paired to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Customers will have a choice between standard rear-wheel drive, or customers can upgrade to the 4MATIC® all-wheel drive model. The E 350 also comes with a multi-mode drive program selector allowing drivers to manually select the car’s driving and ride performance. The four drive modes include ECO, Comfort, Sport and Sport+ that all alter the throttle response, shift points and steering effort, ECO Start/Stop, and available AIR BODY CONTROL® suspension. There is also a fifth “Individual” drive mode which allows drivers create a mode of their own, even allowing the driver to manually shift with paddle shifters on the steering wheel.

The Mercedes-Benz E 350 will include standard state-of-the-art technologies such as keyless entry, push-button ignition, power trunk lid, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. New interior elements include a redesigned dashboard, contrast stitching, and available two-tone Nappa leather interior. Interior colors will be available in Macchiato Beige or Yacht Blue. Exterior colors come in Black, Polar White, Lunar Blue, Cardinal Red, and many other customized options.

The 2020 E 350 comes standard with COMAND® navigation, which includes 3D maps, live traffic updates, web-based HERE™ Local Search, and lane advice before turns. Available cabin environment systems, ENERGIZING Comfort, allows customers to adjust light, sound, climate, massage and fragrance settings in the cabin. The E 350 also comes with 64-color LED ambiance lighting. The new E Class is also filled with driver assists like Available Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC® that monitors your following distance, keeps you in your lane, and can also change lanes for you with the flip of a switch.
